Lump behind left tonsil

2020-12-19 11:27:42
Both of my tonsils have been surgically removed more than 8 years ago. Recently I observed a lump slightly behind the spot of my left removed tonsil. It does not cause any pain and the colour is no different than the usual colour inside our mouth. There's no problem in swallowing. Just presence of it makes me conscious. It is there from past two to three months. Please tell me what it could be. Just afraid if it is throat cancer.

A picture of the lump will be helpful in giving further advice, it may just be a remnant tissue which is harmless if no symptoms arise out of it. But a look on it is needed to confirm.
Next Steps
Kindly consider online consult with picture of throat with flash on
