Plz dr i have shown my brother to two doctor both have advised me surgery is it required. One Dr has suggested arscopic MPFL ligament reconstruction + Oc loose body removal. The other dr has suggested lt knee arthoscopic Osteochondral loose body removal. Is surgery required which surgery is required in my case. They have to remove small bone chip from knee plz see the mri wat advise ull can give. Thanks

Hi Loose body removal has to be done definitely, where as MPFL reconstruction depends on symptoms and clinical examination

Loose fragment definitely has to removed. Mpfl resconstruction required or not can tell you after examining the patient. And the symptoms
