I am having extreme pain in my lower back..basically the portion which touch the chair when u sit on it.

Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Back pain with out leg pain usually settles with physio. Once pain settles do back muscle strengthening exercises. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration because dehydrated disc is more prone to injury
