You can detect PCO type of ovaries on ultrasound. Also few other structural abnormalities like cysts can be detected, few uterine structural abnormalities can also be detected.

Yes you can detect PCOS by ultrasound, which shows 10-12 peripherally situated small cysts in ovaries. But it should be accompanied with symptoms of scanty irregular periods, excessive facial hair , obesity etc to make as pcos diagnosis .
