Low grade fever with high crp
MY MOTHER, AGE IS 55 YEARS,
for 5-6 days she having low grade fever with some joint pain like right hand,leg pain and swelling in leg foot. So doctor give crp & creatinine test.
Test result:
Crp quantitative: 23.76 mg/L
Serum Creatinine: 0.88 mg/dl
What is the cause of this? Is creatinine high?

Possibilities are acutexinfection, can be viral most likely. Test for Dengue can be done.
Also possible for chronic inflammation like rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory arthritis or vasculitis.

creatinine is normal and crp increases in any kind of infection..u should get CBC done and if she us having burning sensation during passing urine then also get urine test. start taking antibiotics. take a consult so that detailed history can be taken
