Low Ferritin during pregnancy

I’m 24 weeks pregnant. Recently checked my Ferritin levels. It was 23.53 ng/ml. Pl advise if this considered as normal level during pregnancy. My Doctor has advised me to take 3 IV Iron injections. I am taking oral Iron supplements (Ferrous Sulphate- 150 gm) daily. Pl advise if the injections are necessary or increasing the dosage of Iron supplement will be enough. Thanks
