Low bleeding during periods

From January month onwards i am facing very low bleeding during periods.i consulted doctor she gave progestron tablets in Feb month .after that also same problem .i consulted another doctor again 25 days back she took ultrasound scanning and said everything is normal .she gave progestron tablets 2 tablets a day morning evening. even though I am bleeding very very low during periods.may I know the reason ,do I need to take any other scanning or anything plz suggest me .i am very much worried.

You should get your hormone profile assessed. Actually for such a situation , in order to increase the amount of bleeding during periods we will have to build up your endometrial thickness. If endometrial thickness is less then you will have less bleeding. To build up endometrial thickness you will need Oestrogen which has its own side effects. So you have to decide, do you want to face the side effects or you are happy with less bleeding during periods. If you want to have a baby then it will be essential to do so many investigations and ensure that you have proper endometrium. Other than that you should be satisfied with REGULAR periods . It should not matter whether bleeding is less or more.
