Home remedies for abdominal cramps with loose stools include staying hydrated with electrolyte-rich drinks like coconut water or sports drinks, consuming bland foods like bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast (BRAT diet), ginger tea or ginger ale, chamomile tea, and probiotic-rich foods like yogurt or kefir.

Hello, Your symptoms suggest an acute gastrointestinal infection, possibly viral or bacterial. Since you are experiencing severe abdominal cramps and watery diarrhea for two days, here’s what you should do: 1. Hydration is key – Drink plenty of fluids like ORS (oral rehydration solution), coconut water, or homemade electrolyte drinks. Avoid caffeine and alcohol. 2. Dietary adjustments – Stick to a bland diet like rice, khichdi, bananas, toast, and yogurt. Avoid dairy (except curd), oily, spicy, and high-fiber foods. 3. Medications – If Cyclopam is not suitable, you may consider an antispasmodic like Drotaverine (under medical supervision). For diarrhea, probiotics (like sporolac) and a short course of racecadotril may help. Avoid self-medicating with loperamide unless prescribed. 4. Monitor for warning signs – If you have high fever, dehydration (dizziness, reduced urination), or blood in stools, seek immediate medical attention. Since your symptoms have persisted with worsening pain, I strongly advise you to consult a doctor for a proper evaluation and prescription. Feel free to book a consultation with me for a personalized approach to your treatment.
