14 Days old baby passing loose stools whenever he poop Say 6 to 7 times a day. Also passes urine frequently say more than 12 times a day. Although he hasn't left breastfeeding after every 2 hours he cry for breastmilk. What could be the reason for loose motion?

Dear friend, Your baby is normal ....it is not loose stools ... New born babies pass stools 6-7times a day ...and tats watery also so don't worry it's not loose stools ...it's normal Regarding passing the urine also it's normal I can only say the parent is over loving and caring ....Don't worry about the urine that is also normal. Now main thing to be bothered is he is taking feeds well ...VERY GOOD ...let him continue to take the breast milk every 2nd hrly . Dr sujit
