It is likely that the beer has elevated the
liver function levels by a fraction, but it is more likely that they're elevated even if you redo the test. Your cholesterol levels are elevated and would require medical correction but you can go for lifestyle changes and check the readings again after a month, if still elevated you will require medications. Here's a few steps to deal with your condition:
- Exercise regularly(Preferably High Intensity Interval Training which would be an effective cardio work out) everyday for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- Reduce weight and maintain a healthy weight as per your BMI as per your BMI currently you're overweight.
- Avoid
sugar treats, fatty food, oily/ deep fried food items.
- Have food items such as fish(rich in omega 3 fatty acids such as salmon), flax seeds, garlic, foods rich in soluble fiber.
- Eliminate trans fats from your diet
- Limit your consumption of foods high in saturated fats. For example, substitute olive oil for butter
- Avoid/Stop alcohol and smoking if you have the habit.
