Ligament injury of knee

I got my acl completely torn as per mri after an accident on 27.10.2017. Now even after 9 weeks my knee hasnt stabilized fully albeit I didnt have any incident of my knee going false during last 1 month or so. One doctor has advised me to avoid acl reconstruction and another has advised ARTHROSCOPY. I am a  little bit confused. Should I go for the operation or not? Please advise. Will it not heal without operation? And hasnt it already healed partially?

hi although both of your doctors are correct but I generally advice acl reconstruction as if you leave it it generally leads to early arthiritis and lot of pain later Regards

better to get ACL reconstructed: 1. if it is torn and you have instability of affected knee. 2. If you lead a sporty lifestyle.
