8 year old boy diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. What is his life expectancy if insulin is given regularly and strict diet/exercises is maintained? How much does he need to exercise everyday? Is there any chance he will lead a normal life without insulin in future?

With insulin...and good control..fair life expectancy.Not possible without Insulin as body doesn't produce own Insulin in Type 1 Diabetes
