Try Malathion 0.5% lotion (e.g., Ovide), applied to dry hair and left for 8–12 hours. Alternatively, Ivermectin 0.5% lotion (topical) or oral Ivermectin may be prescribed in resistant cases (usually taken 7–10 days apart).
