Acute fatty
liver in pregnancy (AFLP) is of course a serious issue as it is life threatening for mother and baby because of liver failure. However in such cases, the woman becomes acutely ill within very short period of time, along with loss of consciousness, high BP and bleeding with low blood
sugar.
