2026-11-02 04:32:54
Recently i have been trying for pregnancy . In August , i did usg and uterus was normal in shape and size with homogeneous myometrium. I have pcod . Doctor suggeted letroz 5 mg. I had it for september and october. I did not conceive. Recently i had usg and post letroz i was noticing vaginal dryness too much . Recently in usg it came , uterus is bulky with heterogenous myometrium and few nabothian cyst in cervix with one such size as 0.42 cm × 0.35 cm. I did not have this earlier in cervix. I think after taking letroz this has happened. Will this cyst in cervix go away naturally once i stop letroz or how is it? Kindly suggest please. Accordingly will connect.

Letrozole is unlikely the cause of your nabothian cysts. You needn’t worry about the cysts, these are harmless. Regarding your conception, connect for further management.

It is not due to letroz

Tablet Letroz doesn't cause nabothian cyst formation. Nabothian cysts are generally harmless, it is mucus collection

Nabothian cysts like this are very common and usually harmless. They are small mucus-filled bumps on the cervix that many women have, often picked up incidentally on a scan. Letrozole does not typically cause them, though the vaginal dryness you noticed is a known, reversible effect of how it temporarily lowers estrogen.
Next Steps
The cyst usually needs no treatment on its own and often stays unchanged or shrinks with time. A vaginal moisturiser or lubricant can ease the dryness until your estrogen levels settle after stopping letrozole.
Health Tips
Since two cycles have not led to a pregnancy, please see your gynaecologist about your PCOD and the next fertility steps at your upcoming visit.
