lack of saliva or reduced salivary flow can be due to multiple reasons like: 1. reduced daily water intake balanced with the weather changes 2.side effects from certain medications 3. anomalies and pathologies related to salivary ducts or salivary glands 4. diabetes 5.chemotherapy and radiotherapy 6. other idiopathic reasons.
Next Steps
i suggest you should first make a conscious effort towards making sure your minimum water intake is 4-5l perday visit an oral pathologist to get your basic check up done to make sure there is no pathological cause, and enquire about the side effects from the medicines if any u may taking.
Health Tips
get yourself ruled out for diabetes through blood test-fasting and post prandial blood sugar
