My father's legs are swollen for quite a while.. He has type 2 diabetes and kidney dysfunction with high creatinine 4 to 4.5 . underwent prostate removal 9 months back..... Is that common for kidney patients to have legs swollen in this season.

Swelling in legs in your patient is because of water accumulation. This is secondary to kidney disease. Diuretics should be increased and with salt and fluid restricted diet. Consult your nephrologist ASAP.
