Left shoulder pain in tb
My mother is undergoing tb treatment since last 40 days now she is on alternate regimen streptomycin levo etham bcz of liver injury .From last 2 week she is having left shoulder pain , from last one week fever and cough has also started again is the medicine working? Should I consult a orthopaedician for her shoulder pain or this pain is due to tb in her lungs ?

SLE seldomly causes angina (cardiac pain)
The current regimen is secondary to the main one so it may take time for fever to fully subside.
But it is better to rule out resistant tb by doing of following up sputum LPA.
Left shoulder pain can also be caused by gastritis which is common for TB treatment regimens.
You may consult an orthopedician to rule out any bone related causes as well
