Simply acknowledging that there is a cyst in the ovary does not help in management . We need to see the the characteristics of the cyst such as if it is a heterogeneous cyst,  if it has a a capsule or if there are any solid components all of which might indicate malignancy. So please do not take this lightly and consult me once while benign ( non-malignant) cysts  can be managed conservatively it requires serial evaluation to see if the size is increasing. If the size is increasing at a rate that is expected to be more than the usual then we might have to do a deroofing of the cyst in which we open the roof of the cyst and let the cyst drain out to prevent the cyst from causing pressure over the ovary.
