Left lower abdomen pain

I'm experiencing pain on the lower abdomen (left side) for the last three days. The spot is below the rib cage. I don't remember getting hurt lately. What can be the reason? Thanks in advance.

Hello there. The causes can be a lot like gastritis, renal stones, some infection etc. But if you need to know the exact cause in your case, then a more detailed history along with physical examination is required. Drink lots of water, have high fiber food. Consult a surgeon for further help. Regards
