Left leg has been going numb and shooting pain down the leg. Been going on for about a month now. I stand for 8hours for work and that's where it hurts the most. What can I do for it??

Mri  must. Avoid long sitting. Posture corrections must. Start physiotherapy treatment. Bad posture created pain.

Shooting pain along the leg is feature of Lumbar disc prolapse, also called sciatica or slip disc in day to day conversation. You need consultation with spine surgeon, who can examine you and advice necessary investigation. Once the diagnosis is made, proper treatment can be started.
