Expose him to a lot of situations and demonstrate the utterances he could say in a given situation. It is perfectly fine if he repeats after you initially. Once the situations become repetitive in his routine, wait for a response in anticipation. Even if he attempts to say something relevant, appreciate his efforts rather than correcting him every single time. Be sure you make a positive and fun environment for communication and interaction. Do not put a lot of demand in expectation. Things will develop as you try to utilize language interaction strategies. As far as narrating sequences of daily routine is concerned, there is a lot to be worked up on before teaching him to do so. Get him to express in a positive manner first. Communication should always be fun than a burden on the child.
