Hello It's personal choice I am an ophthalmologist and i underwent Lasik as I did not want to wear glasses I know many  ophthalmologists who chose Lasik over glasses for themselves and for their family members.

I have done lasik on many Doctors. Even on my own children in the family. If you like to use specs you can continue. If you dislike due to cosmetic reason or because social embracement or for jobs or for matrimonial purpose you can go for lasik.

Those who are satisfied and happy with glasses need not go for refractive surgery esp. those who have less number. So it is your need which will determine whether you want a refractive surgery or not. You don't need to compare your vision requirements with anyone.
