Hi Dr, My wife has been diagnosed with a following condition. 1. Posterior bulge with large central and right paracentral herniation of L5-S1 disc with superior extrusion compressing the anterior epidural fat, impinging on bilateral traversing S1 nerve roots  (right more than left) and minimally compromising the right neural foramen. 2.Posterior bulge with small central herniation of L4-5 disc compressing the anterior epidural fat and indenting the thecal sac. 3. Minimal suspicious syrinx within the cord at C6-7 level. As per doctor after reviewing the MRI of the spine said that she may require a surgery as there is a bulge is compressing the right leg nerve.
