Knock knee recovery

I had knock knee osteotomy of right knee on 2nd July. Today after more than 10 weeks,doctors removed the slab . Now doctors told me to slowly bend knee day by day and also told some physiotherapy exercises. How can I care my knee after removal of slab,is it normal to have pain while bending my knee after 10-11 weeks of surgery? Please help me to know more about post knock knee osteotomy care.

Union at the osteotomy site must be confirmed before Wright bearing is done. Then knee movements must be worked on gradually.

Post surgery knee will be stiff after 11 to 12 weeks, which is the cause for pain. Follow gradual mobilisation protocol as per operating surgeon. Once wounds have healed there is no specific precautions as such. Routine bathing and skin care. Avaoid sitting on floor and using Indian style toilet
