Knee Pain for one week

I have suddenly developed knee pain for past one week specially while bending the knees. I go for morning walk for 30 minutes almost 5 days in a week. My height is 5 feet 8 inches and weight is 74 kg.

Knee pain with sudden onset might need some looking into for long term benefit. Please visit a good physio or an Ortho for further evaluation and treatment.

Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

First apply Ice pack over your knee for 10 mins and repeat it after every 1 hr for 8 times in a day. Take appropriate rest and elevate your leg by keeping 2 pillows below it when you are sleeping on your back... Avoid prolong standing Use knee brace to protect your joint ...it will also give you support... Try to give gentle movement to your knee joint in flexion to extension and do not overstretch it... If anything required feel free to contact....

what ever treatment u take,keep activating Quadriceps muscle and Range motion of knee joint.

Hi, this may be due to the stiffness of muscles near knee. stop walking for a while, first u solve your pain and then u can proceed walking or else ur pain will aggravate.
Next Steps
You need to do stretches and exercise to solve it

jus take some muscle relaxant nd u will b fine...tab zerodol THOD 8 once day for 7 days..

Diabetic ?.......use commode ...avoid for ....siting cross leg.. ...do not sit on a floor ......mighy br degenerative..........try this.....usr some pain kilers....extent u r knees 30 to 40 times.....thrice aday.... For 7 day put 2kg. Wtm on.ankle abd do the same ezercise if pain prrsist........visit the orthopedician...........tc.....
