Knee issue

Knee joint pain while climbing stairs. I face issue after trekking on hills before 10 days. I have taken medicines from local doctors, but issue persist.

It's a synovial effusion or the layer surrounding the knee space getting inflamed due to over exertion - use ice, local analgesics and a crepe bandage. Avoid squatting and climbing stairs if possible. Use oral anti-inflammatory medicines - Piroxicam 20 mg once a day/ Aceclofenac 100 mg in combination with paracetamol twice a day or any other NSAID for 5 days. Get evaluated for possible early arthritic changes and life style modifications to manage the same
