Kidney transplant success ratio
Hello,
My friend both kidneys are damage and doctor asked for transplant. There is on possiblity of mother to give one of kidney. But my friend blood group is o+ve and mother blood group is A+ve.. can this transplant is possible and how much success it will be if done.

Regarding success rate of a normal transplant, all over the world success at 1 year is around 90 to 95%. At 5 years, it is around 75 to 80%. By 10 years, it is around 50%.
