So my brother had kidney stone in his left kidney. The doctor removed his stone through surgery around 5 months back and the stone was of size 55 mm . After that time he went to have ultrasound few days back and again found kidney in the left side of size 16-20 mm. What to do? He doesn't have any pain or anything. But it shouldn't keep happening as far as i know. Please suggest something. How can a stone found again ?

At the time of surgery, stone details would be there, like composition of stone. U have to take medication according to that to prevent recurrent stone formation. Also blood and urine tests are needed. For any more details u can message
