Hello. Since you have a solitary functioning
kidney which has been affected by stones, you should be following up with a nephrologist periodically so that any problem with it can be identified in advance and managed pro actively.
As far as kidney function is concerned blood urea and serum
creatinine are basic blood tests that would give a fair idea about the functioning of the solitary kidney. You may need further testing depending upon their results.
Hope that helps. Take care.
