Hi dr, my niece is having fever.today is the 3rd day..she is currently on paracetamol & antibiotic suggested by doctor.My question is should we get a blood check up done? Her temperature is around 99 degrees and sometimes 101.

If fever showed decreading trend then you should wait for 2 more days... But if fever remain same then go for blood investigations which will be decided by your doctor...

You should go for blood test if the temp rises more than 100 two to three times a day
