Hey, dear keloid is a raised scar after an injury has healed. A keloid is caused by an excess of a protein (collagen) in the skin during healing. It can be successfully treated with topical injections and laser therapy For further information you can consult online directly.

Hi.when the skin is cut/scratched or it’s intergrity is lost due to any reason ,the healing process starts .the skin starts repairing and sealing the wound.keloid occurs when the skin does not stop regenerating when the wound is healed.it continues to do it.this results in the outgrowth of skin.the best approach would be to inject it with medicine which will reduce its size over a few months.oral ingestion of any form allopathy or alternate medicine would not be efficient in my opinion

Hello dear. Unfortunately, no, there is no permanent solution to keloids Your body has a keloidal tendency. If we do a cosmetic surgery to remove the keloid, then in return you could get even bigger keloid. ILS injections and tight compression stockings are your best bet For any further questions, please consult directly via online consultation in Practo pro app
