Jaw pain and clicking

My jaw doesn't feel right. I can't open my mouth to eat anything and I have to click it everytime to get it in the right place. It's starting to ache.

The treatment depends on the cause of The clicking. If bite is incorrect then orthodontic treatment may help. If there are other issues a soft splint can be done which will reduce forces on the joint .

Avoid too wide mouth opening like during yawning etc. Avoid eating hard things and have a soft diet

It could be a disturbance in the disc present in joint. It could have been because of some distress caused due to wide mouth opening or some bite related issues which was long-standing. So kindly see a dentist who will take a proper history and gives u a solution for the problem.
