Jaundice diagnosed

My sister had fever from 2nd Jan, showed at govt hospital who prescribed ciprofloxacin for 5 days along with paracetamol. Inspite of those medicines she started having fever again and we showed to a new doctor who ordered blood tests and jaundice was diagnosed, doctor prescribed reheptin and udmed 300, but fever is not going away, is it normal to have fever for 10 days, I am really worried
