During iui if we use scan gel as lubricant, whether it will affect the sperm? Please someone confirm

Scan gel can affect sperms....but during iui it's not used....usually scan is done 1 or2 day after iui then it doesn't matter

Gel used in scans can affect sperms in natural intercourse when gel present in vagina can interact with sperms. But when IUI is done ,the washed semen is instilled inside the uterine cavity with the help of a catheter after proper cleaning of vagina and cervix with saline ,so practically it doesn't affect .

Scan gel can affect sperms so usually to check rupture , sterile Probe cover is used .
