Hi, I have had an itchy vagina for a couple of months. We were trying for pregnancy and this infection happened. Earlier doctor gave the suppository and cream to apply and 2 oral dose of flucanazole 150. It got okay, then I got pregnant and in some time infection reappeared, this time only 6 days suppository and non steroidal cream was given. Still no improvement. Then during the urine test, there were epithelial cells present so Citralka syrup was given, which improved infection. But now again the infection is there, what to do, none of the doctors physically examined the place of itching just giving medicine by listening to symptoms. How can this infection disappear and won't harm a baby as well.

Epithelial cells are normal it is the pus cells that need to be treated Any infection in pregnancy should be timely treated because that can predispose to preterm labour pains you can request a physical examination to the doctor
