Hello, My wife had her index finger tip getting frequent itching since last couple of months. It would itch and become dry upto a point where it would feel like the skin on the fingertip would come off. Then some red spots will appear in the area and it would go off in a couple of days. In the last couple of days the itching increased and again these red spots came up near the fingertip where the itching occured! This time these looked more prominent. This is 4th time for such blisters to come up. Please suggest what this might be and If we would need to consult a doctor for this. Or if this is a common fungal infection that can be treated with OTC drugs. Appreciate any advises on this! Regards, Nihar
