Itching all day specially in night

My son is 3.5 years old and from last 3-5 days he is behaving awkward and itching all day specially in night and scratching his body and not sleeping in night.
Pl suggest some medicine
Have you recently changed your son's bed sheets.
He might be allergic to that If it has been changed..
Wash the bed sheets properly with soap and detergent.
You say he is scratching his body at night..
Does he scratch near his anal region? If it implies a parasitic infection.
If he itches all over his body , try changing his clothes.
You also apply calamine lotion over his body to sooth his skin.
he might have to be started on antihistamine drugs to control the itch.
