Is there any chance of pregnancy or not

I had unprotected sex recently and took an emergency contraceptive pill (I-pill) within 24 hours. I would like to know how effective it is in preventing pregnancy and what the chances are of conceiving in this situation. Please let me know if there’s anything else I should be aware of or if any follow-up steps are recommended.

It depends on what day of the menstrual cycle you were when the pill was taken. If it was after ovulation then the pill doesn't work. This is the usual cause of failure of the pill. If you miss your period then get a pregnancy test done.
