Irregular periods
Hi Doctor, my mom has been going through irregular menstrual periods. Lately she did not have periods for three months and then had a sudden burst a day before. I have attached the ultrasound report for your reference. The current doctor has prescribed few medicines which seem to be giving relief but I wanted to seek your expert opinion based on the ultrasound report. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
Wait to stop bleeding. Complete the course of Medicines. Repeat an ultrasound, If endometrial lining 8 even after bleeding, she needs hysteroscopy with D n C. Which will be therapeutic and diagnostic. Bleeding may be because of adenomyosis.
As soon as bleeding stops do Pap's smear : a cervical cancer screening test.
If ovarian cyst persists even after bleeding or next period then do CA 125 : OVARIAN TUMOR MARKER

My genuine advise is to repeat scan form another radiologist
If endometrium is 8.3 even after severe bleeding , she need sampling. Treatment will depend on her age, number of children she have and severity of symptoms.
Report also mentioned RO complex ov cyst, go for complimentary cancer screening blood tests.
