Asked for Female, 19 Years

I have a concern for my younger sister.she is 19 years old and she has been having this issue for a long time and she was given a medication about a year ago. Her periods had ended just a 4 or 5 days ago but now she is suffering again with heavy flow. What would be the possible reason? She is far away from us making it difficult for us to reach out to her soon. Please help.
