I am having problems with bowel movement. I have to go to the toilet 5-6 times a day, and feel an urge after every meal. I went to a doctor and he ran a few tests. Everything was okay in the reports. He asked me to do bowel training How do I train my bowels to go only 1-2 times days to the toilet ? What I have to do and for how long ?

Take high fibre diet, Isabgol husk so that there is good bulk of stools in colon and proper strong colic reflex is generated for evacuation in one go and not 5-6 times in a day. Nervous people have irritable bowels hence stop thinking about your body and concentrate on work and other things around you. Gradually you would get over it. Medicines have limited role in your problem.
