When my son was 5 months old he started waking up every hour at night and goes back to sleep with my help (feeding or rocking). Now he is 1 year old and the habit remains the same. He sometimes waking up every half n hour and takes 5-10 minutes to go back to sleep with parental help. He never had a more than 1.5 hrs stretch of sleep. Is it normal? Or should I go for pediatric sleep help. Or there is any solution which can help

Hi, This seems to be in continuation for a long time. 1st is to rule out any kind of nasal blockage due to nay reasons and then to look further airway, probably (laryngomalacia). If your child is comfortable when he is sleeping on his chest and stomach then he might be feeling better but if lying back and having problems then it can be the issue I mentioned. But need to have more discussion and then reach a diagnosis
Next Steps
Consultant a pediatrician 1st video or live anything and then can be planned for evaluation and management.
Health Tips
Try to make the child sleep on chest and stomach touching bed (probe) position and observe.

Need more information regarding his sleeping habits, whether co-sleeps with parents, any aggressive sleep training given, breathing difficulty or cough or noisy breathing at night, breastfeeding or time of last meal at night, etc.
Next Steps
consult online or offline paediatrician before going through sleep studies
