Intermenstrual Bleeding Reason

Suddenly last month I got bleeding on day 14. I don't have history of any such cases in past. It just happened after 3 months of ovulation induction completed. When did TVS scan on day 14 of bleeding, found as Adenomyosis of Uterus. I don't have any past history of adenomyosis. My age is 31 years. What could be the reason of the mid cycle bleeding?
