Can inhaled corticosteroid be used as a routine medication for heart patients without Asthma and with a single episode of bronchitis? Is there any ill effects of using it continously. I heard it is linked with glaucoma...

When problem is not asthma,there is no need to use inhaled corticosteroids.some studies showed worsening of glaucoma with prolonged usage of high dose inhaled corticosteroids.

Inhaled Corticosteroids dose is very minimal and it is absorbed directly through lungs,So Its safe to use it continuously.its not linked with glaucoma.consult your Chest physician.
