Certain nerves supplying the upper thigh and groin may get pressed by the mesh. Not to worry as when the mesh will be absorbed by the body , pain will disappear gradually.
Next Steps
Tab Neurobion Forte once daily.
Health Tips
Avoid lifting heavy weights or straining your abdomen. Avoid food and drinks which cause cough or constipation.

Wound area looks very well healed. Was this pain there since after surgery or is it a new thing? Is there any recurrence of the hernia? Post inguinal hernia inguinodynia (pain) can happen and is nothing to worry about.
Next Steps
Medications if it is hampering your daily life.
Health Tips
Avoid lifting heavy weights/straining. Cough while supporting your abdomen with your hand.
