Infections after pyeloplasty

Sir my 11 months child has developed infection after pyeloplasty. Gram negative bacilli Pseudomonas aeruginosa was found in urine culture.

usually it is catheter associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI). Needs to get treated adequately. May have to see how good is the function of the kidney that was operated. of it's a not a good functioning kidney, the infection might persistent for a long time. If there are fever episodes, may need parenteral antibiotics as well
