Severe urine infection in child
Hello doctor my daughter is 2 year old. She has urine infection where by Puss cells are PLENTY. PROTINE + BLOOD IN URINE +. she has no symptoms except for burining while urinating that too some times not all times. Shes playing, eating, sleeping well. She had urine infection last in june 2 months ago where her puss cells were 60-80. She had 104 fever and was also admitted she had severe burining in urine kept cring all day. She had ultrasounds xray and MCU which were normal. She dosent drink water at al only twice thrice a day Is such severe infection dangerous? Her pead said to check clinically and urine routine after which antibiotics will be given but routinw takes 2 days to come. What if infection increases by then?
