Increasing spects power

My spects power had increased from 0.5 when I was 16 to 1.5 when I was 17 or 18 to 2.5 when I was 20 . And now I'm 21, and have been doubting if the power increased again. Will go for a power checkup shortly

I think I have already answered it earlier. The power remains stable between 18 and 45 years of age. There is no need to worry and you may choose to get a refractive procedure done for reducing your reliance on glasses!

Usually the power change stops around 18 years of age. From 18 to 45 years of age it remains relatively unchanged! However it is a good practice to have a complete annual eye check up with dilatation of pupils and cycloplegia. Examination by optometrist may not be sufficient.

With such changes in spectacle correction you must get your refraction done every 6 months to 1 year and also get a fungus examination done some a year.
