In the peripheral blood, eosinophilia can be characterized as mild (450–1500 eosinophils per microliter), moderate (1500–5000 eosinophils per microliter) or severe (greater than 5000 eosinophils per microliter). Hypereosinophilia refers to blood eosinophils level greater than 1500 eosinophils per microliter. So what is your eosinophil count. If you have severe symptoms you need to be investigated further.
